CSA Publishes 2015 Continuous Disclosure Review Results

The Canadian Securities Administrators (the “CSA”) published their annual notice summarizing the results of their Continuous Disclosure Review Program for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2015.  The notice includes detailed examples of common deficiencies the CSA identified during its review of financial statements, management’s discussion and analysis and other regulatory disclosure. It also provides public companies with practical guidance and suggestions for improving their disclosure.

Public companies should refer to Staff Notice 51-344 in preparing their continuous disclosure documents. In addition, while all jurisdictions participate in the review program, some local jurisdictions may also publish reports summarizing results in their jurisdiction which may be found on the individual regulator’s website.  The LaBarge Weinstein team is available to help you to comply with continuous disclosure requirements.
