AdeptAg acquires Plantech Control Systems Inc., Plantech West Inc., and JM Controls and Electric Ltd.
AdeptAg, the North American leader in controlled environment production solutions, announced the acquisition of Plantech Control Systems Inc. (“Plantech”), Plantech West Inc., and JM Controls and Electric Ltd. (“JM Controls”) in December 2022. With the addition of these three companies, AdeptAg expands its solutions offerings and further connects with the needs of growers.
AdeptAg is the North American leader serving the decorative plant, cannabis, produce (greenhouse and vertical farm), biopharma and forestry markets.
Plantech has been a leader in providing fully integrated control systems for agriculture for more than 35 years. Plantech has been supplying integration for all aspects of indoor growing, working with best-in-class providers. In addition, Plantech West and JM Controls play essential roles in providing growers turnkey power systems and automation solutions, including ongoing service and support.
Joining AdeptAg will enable each company to expand its market position and local offerings, as well as expanding their geographic reach. Customers of each company will benefit from more efficient control and automation solutions from design to service.
