Drive Capital Ignites Birdseye with $3M in Funding to Revolutionize Customer Targeting for Brands and Retailers

Drive Capital, a prominent venture capital firm based in Columbus, has announced a substantial seed investment of US$3 million in Birdseye, a pioneering player in artificial intelligence for the retail and e-commerce sector. This latest investment follows Drive Capital’s earlier involvement as the lead investor in a US$500,000 pre-seed round conducted in March this year. Masha Khusid, a partner at Drive Capital, is set to join Birdseye’s board of directors, further emphasizing Drive Capital’s strategic engagement. Known for investing in companies that redefine markets, Drive Capital is supporting over 100 companies outside of Silicon Valley, including notable names such as Duolingo, Branch, Greenlight, and Path Robotics.

LaBarge Weinstein acted as counsel to Drive Capital with a team led by Michael Sami.
