Shahd joined LaBarge Weinstein LLP as an associate in 2021 after completing her summer and articling term with the Firm. As a member of the Firm’s Corporate group, she regularly assists clients with Corporate Financing, M&A transactions and general day to day corporate matters.
During law school Shahd was a research assistant for the Business Organizations course and a member of the Women’s Legal Mentorship Program. In her last year of law school pre-
COVID, she participated in the international exchange program at Erasmus School of Law in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, where she studied Legal Theories and International Corporate Governance.
Prior to law school, Shahd obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in the History of Fine Arts and Near & Middle East Civilizations from the University of Toronto.
