Wrynn, Colin

Colin’s practice focuses in the areas of corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities law and general corporate/commercial law. In the course of his practice, Colin has advised on public and private corporate financing and M&A transactions, including venture capital financings, private placements of debt and equity securities, corporate governance matters and other ongoing corporate and securities law matters.

Colin regularly acts for a wide range of clients from start-up companies to well established companies in a range of industries, including renewable energy and technology sections. Since 2008, Colin has acted on over 65 venture capital and M&A transactions representing approximately $450 million.

  • Skywire Software in its acquisition of Whitehill Technologies Inc.
  • DeepMetrix Corporation in its acquisition by Microsoft Corporation

  • BlackBerry Partners Fund in its investment in Aepona
  • Peraso Technologies in its 2009 and 2010 Preferred Share financings
  • Atreus Pharmaceuticals in its strategic investments
