Beath, Dineen

Dineen joined LaBarge Weinstein as an articling student in 2005, and accepted a position as an Associate after being called to the Bar in 2006. Dineen is a member of the firm’s tax group and participates in all aspects of that group’s practice. Working closely with members of the firm’s corporate and securities practices, Dineen assists clients with the tax implications of their business transactions including investments, acquisitions, mergers, public offerings, and succession planning. Dineen’s clients range from large multi-national corporations to owner-mangers, and Dineen provides advice in the area of both income tax and commodity tax. Dineen also assists clients during the audit, reassessment, objection and appeal stage of the tax litigation process.

In addition to Dineen’s tax practice, she also regularly assists clients with their estate planning needs, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.

Prior to attending law school, Dineen worked at a large public accounting firm where she obtained her chartered accountant designation.
