2016 – Ontario
Sam is an associate with the firm’s Corporate, Commercial and Securities group. He first joined LaBarge Weinstein as a summer student in 2014 and returned to complete his articles in 2015.
Prior to articling, he obtained his B.C.L./LL.B. from McGill University. While working towards his law degree, Sam was the Podcast Editor of the McGill Law Journal.

Before beginning his law practice, Sam worked in a wide variety of jobs ranging from carpentry to lobbying for affordable housing in Washington D.C.
Sam has a B.A. in Political Science from Mount Allison University, where he graduated with first class honours. During this time, he was president of the Mount Allison Student Union and New Brunswick Student Alliance. He was also a Killam Fellow at American University.
A classic motorcycle enthusiast, Sam also loves cross-country skiing, cycling and gardening. Sam is originally from Goderich, Ontario – Canada`s Prettiest Town!
